Hello all, I got serious issues with the HP G4 250. When I bought it the integrated Broadcom 802.11 device catches the wireless signal really bad. Even with my phone hot's spot on the distance should be not more than 20 centimetres away from the laptop. Now I'm using this wireless card 1.5 meters away from a router with an external antenna. Now the Realtek doesn't show any network. I tried restarting few times and different USB ports. I tried disable/enable. Install/Uninstall from the device manager. Nothing helped. I just got here: And downloaded the original Broadcom drivers for the HP G4 250. Now the rRealtek is not needed. Steps: 1) Download the 45.3 version (7.35.344.0) from 1/26/2016 2) Uninstall the old driver from the device manager 3) Just start the setup and enjoy The result: 1) Full network coverage - even in another room. 2) More networks available in the windows menu 3) No network losses toward to router itself: Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1: Packets: Sent = 143, Received = 143, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 135ms, Average = 5ms Thank you for your help!
